Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement with Pallazzio Hotel and Leisure limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix Mills limited) to manage the Shangri-La Hotel, Mumbai, opening the end of 2009. The hotel will be Shangri-La's fifth property in India following Shangri-La Hotel, new Delhi, which opened in September 2005, and the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangalore, Palm Retreat Shangri-La, Bangalore, and Traders Hotel, Bangalore, all opening in 2009.
