Tourist arrivals in June rose 11.4 per cent from a year earlier, boosting the sector's foreign exchange earnings by 23.2 per cent to $518.5 million, the government said on Wednesday. The number of visitors in June was 310,104 compared with 278,370 in the same month last year, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement. Tourist arrivals since the start of January totalled 2.38 million, up 11.7 per cent from 2.13 million in the same period last year. | Daily Extras!
