The Travel Plus Leisure magazine's 13th annual poll announcing Annual Awards for the Worlds Hotels lists three Oberoi Hotels in the Top 10 with a Taj property being the lone other entry to make to the Top 100 list.
Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur won the second ranking by scoring 95.7 and thus climbing from last year's 11th spot.

The Connie Awards, named in honor of company founder Conrad Hilton, are awarded based on three key components, including: quality assurance audits measuring cleanliness, condition and brand standards; customer scores rating staff service; and customer service scores rating the quality of the hotel’s physical accommodations.

The International Council of Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) today honoured Vithal Venkatesh Kamat, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Kamat Hotels India Limited (KHIL) with the "Hall of Fame Lifetime Contribution in Hospitality Industry" award at Saal 9 at the annual ITB Convention in Berlin.

First ever accolade for a South Indian restaurant in the UK
Taj's flagship property in the United Kingdom, 51 Buckingham Gate's South Indian restaurant, Quilon has received the Michelin star culinary accolade.
Quilon Restaurant in Victoria is one of the five London restaurants to be awarded their first Michelin stars. It is only the fifth Indian restaurant in the capital to win such an honour and in fact the only South Indian restaurant in the UK to do so.
