or in the very least, are you going to see your salary drop?

Do you feel business is getting affected & if so, how much?

will the occupancies drop or will the ARRs?

Will people stop eating out or will they reduce the average spend?

I just found out that Pizza Hut has introduced service charge (maybe it was always there & I didnt notice it!)

I am hoping that everyone here will contribute towards understanding the pros/cons of a service charge.

I got this in the mail today.




I am not tracking Gurgoan and havent stayed there for a while now, but I would like to know from you guys if the prices are as high as 4K for a single room!!

If it is so, then is it time we saw the Guest House emerge as a definite growth model? I know Club Mahindra signed up a number of B&B all over Shimla, but they are essentially selling it in UK.  They figure a €20 - €30 would do the trick!

This is a question that has been asked a hundred times and maybe more. And in the past 22 odd years of aasociation with this industry I have seen some of the best General Managers are non hotel management graduates.
