Sheraton Hotels & Resorts said Monday that it will open 29 hotels this year as it looks to breathe some new life into the brand.
Sheraton's hotel openings, part of the largest expansion in its 71-year history, include locations such as Denver, Washington D.C., Ireland and Egypt. The company also plans to add two new resorts in China and one in Carlsbad, Calif., which will boost its global resort total to 63 by the end of 2008.
