John Keells Holdings, the biggest Sri Lankan hotel operator, plans to invest $100 million building its first resorts in India, as escalating violence deters tourists from visiting the South Asian island. Keells, based in Colombo, plans to develop three properties in the Indian states of Goa and Kerala within a year, the company's deputy chairman, Ajit Gunewardene, said in a recent interview in Singapore.
